Titan Mining and Energy Corp. (TMEC), the mining subsidiary of Coal Asia Holdings Inc., announced that it will commence coal production in October 2013. The company has completed feasibility studies, secured necessary permits, and installed mining equipment at its Davao Oriental site. TMEC expects to produce 600,000 metric tons of high-grade bituminous coal annually once full operations are underway.
