OUR STORY

Water for Every Filipino

Ryan T. Yapkianwee, a structural design engineer by profession and Conrado Belisario, a hydraulics engineer by profession. The pair decided to go into the water utilities industries as early as 2014. The idea of going into this business was a result of their educational background and Ryan's family business in pipe manufacturing.

The family has been manufacturing pipes for over 50 years which provides synergy to the water utility business especially since most of the capital is from pipe cost. The team brings experience in water distribution system, waste water management, value engineering and construction expertise, steel and PE pipe manufacturing, strategic corporate development. Together with a group of friends and family they incorporated Tubig Pilipinas Group, Inc. (TPGI) in October 2014.

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Our Founders & Ownership

TPGI was incorporated primarily to engage in the business of operating, managing, maintaining and rehabilitating waterworks, sewerage and sanitation systems and services, specifically for the distribution, supply and sale of potable water and the provision of sewerage and sanitation systems.

Pure Water Corporation owns 50.00% while Quadwater Corporation owns 50.00% share of Tubig Pilipinas. Pure Water was incorporated on October 23, 2013 for the purpose of acquiring and holding water treatment and sewerage treatment plants and facilities. Quadwater Corporation was incorporated in January 2014 with the primary purpose of acquiring and holding water treatment and sewerage treatment plants and facilities. Pure Water and Quadwater have no other substantial assets, other than their shares of Tubig Pilipinas.

Joint ventures and partnerships with Manila Water Company (MWC) give the Company tactical and strategic edge through gaining access to MWC's specialized expertise and knowledge and is expected to open up to other opportunities.
